Theta Phi Alpha Announces 2020-2022 Grand Council and Board of Trustees

BAY VILLAGE, Ohio – The Theta Phi Alpha Grand Council recently accepted the resignation of two dedicated Grand Council members. Both Karen Jenkins Rubican, National Vice President-Collegians, and Lauren Svec Gallo, National Vice President-Alumnae, have committed countless evenings and weekends and sacrificed time away from their families in service to the Fraternity. As a result of the resignations, Theta Phi Alpha is pleased to announce the Grand Council leadership for the 2020-2022 biennium.

  • National Vice PresidentAlumnae: Kristin Windeshausen Henkenius, Alpha Pi

  • National Vice PresidentProgramming: Stephanie Galendez, Alpha Beta
  • National Executive Secretary: Michelle Short Porter, Alpha Nu
  • National Treasurer: Cristin Miller Brown, Alpha Psi

Theta Phi Alpha’s Grand Council is charged with conducting Fraternity business between Conventions, including enforcing the National Constitution and Bylaws, establishing and administering policy, managing membership, establishing emerging chapters, and appointing officers.

Theta Phi Alpha’s Board of Trustees also accepted the resignation of Board member, Kristin Windeshausen Henkenius, Alpha Pi.

The appointee to the 2020-2022 Board of Trustees:

  • Karen Jenkins Rubican, Alpha Sigma

Theta Phi Alpha’s Board of Trustees’ duties include advising the Grand Council on fraternal, scholastic and financial policies; determining and presenting national awards; and to nominate the elected National Officers.
